Sparx Edge Checker

Sparx Edge Checker – check for even edges

With the Edge Checker you can see whether the inside and outside edges of your blade are the same height. This is crucial for a clean sharpening. Suitable for anyone who sharpens their own skates, works in a pro shop or, as a player or parent, values performance and quality.

The Edge Checker fits hockey skates for players and goalies.

Features

• Measures edge height differences down to 0.001 inch according to Sparx
• Precision-made
• Storage for the measuring bar on the device
• Wear plate made of hardened steel
• Short slot for the blade

How to check

• Deburr the blade first.
• Turn the skate upside down and place the Edge Checker on the sharpened blade.
• The measuring bar attaches magnetically to the running surface. The lines show you whether both edges are the same height.
• Check at the heel, middle and toe.
